An indoor hockey building. That is all it is.
We are an indoor inline and dek hockey facility in Bridgeville, PA, open seven days a week. We do not offer roller skating sessions. We only have hockey related programs.

The rink
The floor you are playing on.
Our rink dimensions are 176 feet by 79 feet. For comparison, North American regulation is 180 by 80, and NHL regulation is 200 by 85. Our ceiling height is 14 feet, which is lower than most indoor facilities, though the stoppage in play as a result is not too frequent.

On site
Locker rooms, a ProShop, and heat in the winter.
Five locker rooms sit at the end of the Main Hall, and the ProShop carries what people need to get into the game. The facility is climate controlled, with heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, so a January skate is the same as a July one.
What we do not do is rent skates or helmets. Bring your own gear, or come see what is on the wall in the shop.
Our history
Sixty years of this building.

1960s
The building opens as a roller skating rink and becomes a South Hills fixture.

Then
It turns into a roller and foot hockey facility, known as Great Southern Roller Arena.

2004
The remnants of Hurricane Ivan sweep through Western PA. Flash flooding hits Bridgeville, the facility is damaged, and the business is forced to close.

2008
A local family sees the potential to revive hockey in town and the Bridgeville Rollerplex is born. For fifteen years, players of all ages have a home again for inline hockey.

2023
That generous family decides it is time to pass the torch. The Bridgeville HockeyPlex takes the reins in stride, adding dek hockey to the programs.
